Alright, let me tell ya about printing out that Razorback baseball schedule for next year. I needed a copy stuck right on my fridge, see? My nephew’s playin’ some JV ball now and keeps buggin’ me about when we can go see the big games together. Kept forgettin’ to check the darn dates online every time. Figured a paper copy slapped up where I make coffee every morning was the best bet.

The Frustrating Website Hunt
First thing, I grabbed my laptop and fired up Google. Typed in “arkansas baseball schedule 2025”. Simple enough, right? Wrong. Got a bunch of news articles about last season, ticket resale sites plastered with ads, and this one site that looked official but just wouldn’t load properly. Seriously, the thing timed out three times! Annoying as heck. I muttered somethin’ unkind under my breath.
Finally, I remembered the university athletics website. Why didn’t I start there? Duh. Navigated there, clicked through “Sports”, chose “Baseball”. Scrolled down… and down… past all the player stats and coach bios. Couldn’t find the dang schedule anywhere obvious! It was like it was hidin’ from me. Almost gave up, swear I did.
The “Print” Button Revelation
Then, I spotted this tiny little icon up near the top right corner of the schedule page. Looked like a little printer. I’m thinkin’, “Is that it? Seriously?” Clicked it. Lo and behold, the whole page changed! It switched to this clean, printer-friendly version. No more flashy banners or annoying videos playin’ in the background. Just the dates, the teams we’re playin’, and the locations. Beautiful. Exactly what I needed.
My printer? Wasn’t hooked up to the laptop. Of course not. Woulda been too easy. So, I whipped out my phone instead. Pulled up the same printer-friendly page. Pinched to zoom in nice and big on the schedule part, making sure the dates were readable. Wanted it crisp.
The Actual Printing Snafu
Took a deep breath, tapped the share button on my phone (y’know, that box with an arrow pointin’ up), and looked for “Print”. Picked my cheapo inkjet printer from the list. Heard it groan to life downstairs. Ran down, all hopeful… only to find it had spit out a page with the schedule crammed into the top left corner, the rest blank. Wasted paper! Ink ain’t free!
Turns out the printer needed a kick. I hit cancel, fumbled through the settings. Found that “Scaling” option hidden away. Changed it from “Actual Size” (which it clearly wasn’t!) to “Fit to Page“. Prayed a little. Hit print again. Listened. Heard that glorious whirring sound. Ran back downstairs.
There it was! A full page, the 2025 Arkansas Baseball schedule, nice and centered. Ink smudged a bit on “Ole Miss” – that printer always does that – but perfectly readable. Grabbed a magnet and slapped it right on the fridge door. Victory! My nephew ain’t gonna let me forget a game now.
