Holt High football schedule where to buy tickets see match dates easily

So today I was trying to figure out Holt High’s football schedule and how to get tickets. Been meaning to catch my nephew’s games all season. Started simple – just typed “Holt High football schedule” into Google. Man, that gave me a million results. School district site, sports blogs, some ticket resale places. Total mess.

The Google Struggle Was Real

First link I clicked was the school district calendar. Dead end – just showed teacher meetings and holidays. Then I found some local news article from LAST YEAR. Useless. After like 20 minutes of this, I remembered: high schools always put their athletic stuff on those sports league websites. But dang if I could remember which one our county uses.

Then it hit me – check their Twitter! Found Holt High Athletics account. Scrolled through months of “great win!” posts before finally spotting a pinned tweet from August. Bingo! Full schedule right there:

  • Sept 7 vs Eastside @7pm
  • Sept 14 @ Jefferson High
  • Sept 28 homecoming vs Central

The Ticket Hunt Begins

Okay cool, got dates. But still zero clue where to buy tickets. Checked the school’s website again – nothing under Athletics page except coaching contacts. Even the “events” section just had fundraiser bake sales. Seriously?

Finally went back to that athletics Twitter account. Zoomed in on their profile picture – tiny text in the bio said “Tickets at: (that big statewide ticket platform)”. You know the one that does all high school sports? Logged in there, but couldn’t find Holt High for nothing. Turns out I had to search by district name instead of school. Typical.

When tickets finally popped up, had to create a whole new account. Password rules were nuts – needed capitals, symbols, numbers, probably my blood type too. After setting up payment, tickets were $8 each but with $3.50 “processing fee”. Highway robbery for pixelated PDF tickets!

Anyway, mission accomplished. Printed the schedule for my fridge and set phone reminders for the home games. Lesson? High school tickets shouldn’t be this much work. Maybe that’s why the stadium’s always half empty!
