Alright, so, I decided to get a jump on the 2024 Fantasy Football season. I mean, who doesn’t want to dominate their league, right? So, I started working on my own cheat sheet. It’s still early, but hey, gotta be prepared!

Getting Started and Finding Resources
First, I dug around for some good rankings.I checked out some expert consensus rankings , and some articles from last season that recapped the top performers. I needed a baseline, you know? Something to build from.
Customizing My Rankings
Then, I started tweaking those rankings. I factored in things like my league’s scoring system (PPR, half-PPR, standard… it all matters!). And I thought about my own personal preferences. Like, I’m always a sucker for a good running back, so I might bump them up a bit higher than some of the “experts” do.
Tier System is Key!
I organized players into * is super important. It’s not just about who’s ranked number 1, 2, 3… It’s about seeing the drop-offs. Like, if there are five great quarterbacks and then a big gap, you know you need to snag one of those top five early.
Players Tracking
- I created columns for all the important stuff: player name, position, team, bye week. Bye weeks are killer, man, gotta plan for those.
- I also made note about players I think are gonna be breakout stars this year. You gotta have those sleepers!
Refining and Updating
This cheat sheet, it’s a living document. I am going to keep updating it throughout the preseason. Injuries happen, depth charts change, rookies emerge… gotta stay on top of it all. I will set aside time each week to review the news and adjust accordingly.
So, that’s where I’m at right now. It’s a work in progress, but I’m feeling good about it. Hopefully, this little project will help me crush it this season!.
