Top 200 Fantasy Football 2024 PPR Rankings (Cheat Sheet & Draft Tips)

Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into fantasy football prep for the 2024 season, and I gotta share my process for building out my top 200 PPR rankings. It’s been a GRIND, but a fun one!

Top 200 Fantasy Football 2024 PPR Rankings (Cheat Sheet & Draft Tips)

Started with the Basics

First thing I did was pull up a bunch of different expert rankings. you know, the usual suspects. I didn’t just want to copy and paste, though. I needed to get a feel for the general consensus, see where people agreed and disagreed.

My Spreadsheet Magic

Then, I fired up my trusty spreadsheet. I created columns for player name, position, team, projected points, and a few other key stats. I started plugging in those expert rankings, averaging them out to get a baseline.

Watching the Tape(and Reading)

This is where it got REAL. I started watching game film, highlights, everything I could find.I Want to see how guys actually perform. I also read the articles by some news reporters to get an idea of some players’ performance, injuries, team tactics, and the like.

  • Is a running back actually getting goal-line carries, or is he just racking up yards between the 20s?
  • Is a wide receiver a deep threat who’s boom-or-bust, or is he a consistent target hog?
  • Is a quarterback going to be airing it out, or is he stuck in a run-heavy offense?

Tweaking, Tweaking, Tweaking

Based on what I saw and read, I started adjusting my rankings. Some guys I moved up, some guys I moved down. Sometimes it was a gut feeling, sometimes it was based on hard data. It’s a constant process of refining and second-guessing myself.

PPR Considerations

Since this is for PPR (points per reception) leagues, I had to give extra weight to guys who catch a lot of passes. Running backs who are involved in the passing game, slot receivers, tight ends who are basically wide receivers in disguise – those are my guys.

The Top 200 Emerges

After hours and hours of work, I finally had a top 200 list that I felt pretty good about. It’s not perfect, and I’m sure I’ll be tinkering with it right up until draft day, but it’s a solid foundation.

It’s all about putting in the work, doing your research, and trusting your gut. Hope this helps you dominate your drafts!
