24 Fantasy Football Rankings: Expert Projections Revealed Now

Okay, so I’ve been messing around with fantasy football rankings for the upcoming season, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I figured I’d share my process, just in case anyone else is as obsessed with this stuff as I am.

24 Fantasy Football Rankings: Expert Projections Revealed Now

First, I started by grabbing a bunch of different rankings from all over the place. You know, the big-name sites, some smaller blogs, even a few podcasts that put out their own lists. I just dumped them all into a giant spreadsheet. It was a mess, honestly, a total data overload.

Then, I tried to make sense of it all. I looked at each player and compared their rankings across all the different sources. Some guys were pretty consistent – you know, the top-tier players that everyone agrees on. But then there were the wild cards, the guys who were ranked all over the map. Those were the ones I really dug into.

My Crazy Spreadsheet

  • Column 1: Player Name (obviously)
  • Column 2-10 (ish): Rankings from each source
  • Column 11: Average Ranking
  • Column 12: My Gut Feeling (This a Very important data,I think)

I started color-coding things, too. Green for guys I felt good about, yellow for the ones I was unsure of, and red for the players I thought were being way overhyped. It made the whole thing a little less overwhelming, turning the data into something i can get.

Next, I started factoring in my own opinions. I mean, that’s the whole point of fantasy football, right? You gotta trust your gut. So, I went through each player again and asked myself: “Do I actually believe this guy is going to perform at this level?”

I considered things like:

  • Injuries from last season
  • Changes in team situations (new coaches, new quarterbacks, etc.)
  • Just plain old hunches based on what I’d seen from these guys in the past

I ended up with a list that was, well, mine. It’s probably not perfect, and I’m sure I’ll be tinkering with it right up until the first kickoff, but it’s a starting point. And that’s really all you need, right? A place to start, and then you just keep adjusting as you learn more.

So, that’s my process. It’s a little chaotic, a little messy, but it’s how I get my head around all this fantasy football stuff. Hope this helps someone out there! Good luck with your own rankings!
