Alright folks, big baseball news dropped this week – 2025 UW baseball season tickets finally went on sale! Figured I’d share how my ticket grab went down since y’all know I never miss a home game.
The Early Morning Grind
Set my alarm for 5:45 AM sharp yesterday cause UW always releases tickets at 6 AM. Made my strongest coffee ever – felt like jet fuel. Computer fired up, fingers stretched like I was gonna run a typing marathon. Had three different browsers open just in case one froze. Was ready to battle the virtual ticket line.

Clicked refresh right at 6:00… and bam! Got hit with the spinning wheel of death. That little circle just kept turning like a hypnotist’s watch. Saw all these tweets popping up about people getting stuck too. Was nervous the whole season would sell out while I stared at this loading screen. Refreshed like crazy for eight whole minutes – felt like hours!
- First try: Got error message “high traffic volume”
- Second try: Page froze during payment section
- Third try: Actually saw seat map before crashing again
Finally got through around 6:15 AM sweating like I ran laps around campus.
Game Selection Strategy
Started scanning the full season schedule they posted. My process:
- Highlighted all Friday home games – best vibe after work week
- Looked for rivalry matchups against old rivals
- Checked for any afternoon games where we get that golden hour lighting
- Triple-checked rain dates cause April weather is wild
Ended up locking in ten games with aisle seats right behind home plate. Paid extra for those but totally worth the sightlines.
Why I Bother With This Chaos
Reminds me of freshman year when I missed ticket sales by three hours. Had to watch playoffs through a chain-link fence outside left field. Some dude kept blocking my view with his giant foam finger. Never making that mistake again. These student athletes? They play with heart like every game’s their last. That energy’s infectious, man.
Got my confirmation email around 6:30 AM. Already counting down to February opening day. Coffee machine earned retirement today.
