So I’ve been tracking 2025 baseball card releases like a hawk since January. Heard whispers about Bowman’s drop, but couldn’t find solid dates anywhere. Figured I’d dig deeper.

Starting the hunt
Checked manufacturer sites first – nada. Twitter rumors were all over the place. Some dude claimed his local shop got early stock in April, but when I called mine? Blank stares. Super annoying.
Stumbling on real info
Remembered some wholesale sites list pre-release stuff. Scrolled through pages of junk until hitting this Shenzhen-based supplier. Bam! Clear as day:
- Set name: 2025 Bowman Baseball Cards
- Release date: May 22, 2025
- Pricing: ¥29.98 USD equivalent per box
- Minimum order: 11 boxes (ouch for collectors)
Couldn’t believe they even listed the material – metal cards? That’s new. But who’s buying baby toys? Weird mismatch there.
Current release watchlist
Since Bowman’s May drop, here’s what I’m tracking now based on distributor chatter:
- Topps Series 2: Late July release (any day now!)
- Panini Prizm Baseball: Early August
- Topps Chrome: Mid-September
- Update Series: October
My Bowman experience
Waited three weeks after release before snagging a single box from a break. Packaging felt flimsy – definitely not “factory sealed” like promised. Pulled two decent rookies but corners were dinged. Total gamble.
Still hunting for Series 2 locally. Shops say check daily – no firm street date. Annoying how manufacturers play these games.
