Okay, so today, I wanted to mess around with an NFL mock draft simulator. You know, just to see how things might shake out in the 2024 draft. I hopped online and found a few different simulators, each with its own little quirks.
I started with one, I think it was the PFN one. It lets you do user-sim, sim-user, and sim-to-sim trades, which is kinda cool. It means I could make picks for my team, let the computer handle the rest, or just watch the computer make all the decisions.
Experimenting with Trades
First, I did a full draft where I controlled my favorite team. Made some trades, moved up and down the draft board, the whole nine yards. It was a blast, but man, making those decisions is tough! You really gotta think about team needs, player values, and all that jazz.

Final Thoughts
All in all, it was a fun way to kill some time and get hyped for the real NFL draft. I ended up doing multiple simulations, trying out different strategies. Those simulators are pretty addictive, I gotta say.
I’m no expert, but it was cool to play general manager for a day. I know there are draft day predictors from places like ESPN, but these simulators give you a more hands-on feeling. You’re not just predicting, you’re participating. If you’re an NFL fan, you should definitely check one out!
