Alright, so I’ve been messing around with fantasy football rankings lately, and let me tell you, it’s a whole thing. I wanted to get a better handle on how players are valued right now, not just based on preseason stuff.
First, I started by just browsing around. I figured, the big sports sites must have updated rankings, right? So I hit up a few of the usual suspects.
Then, I dug a little deeper. I realized just looking at one list wasn’t gonna cut it. I needed to see what everyone was saying. So, I found some sites that pull together rankings from multiple sources. Much better!
- Looked at overall rankings first – you know, the big list of everyone.
- Checked out positional rankings too. Gotta see how the quarterbacks stack up against each other, and same for running backs, receivers, etc.
- Compared my hand-written list to online updated list.
I noticed some players were moving up the rankings like crazy, and others were dropping. I’m guessing that’s because of recent games and maybe some injuries. It’s wild how much things can change week to week!

After all that, I feel like I have a much better grip on who’s hot and who’s not in the fantasy football world right * I have my own current fantasy football rankings.
It is pretty fun.
