Alright, so I decided to get a jump on the 2024 fantasy football season. It’s never too early, right? First, I jotted down every player that popped into my head – the guys who were absolute studs last year, the ones with huge potential, the rookies everyone’s buzzing about. I didn’t worry about order at this point, just getting names on the page. This part was pure instinct, and it produced a list that was way longer than 25!
The Research Deep Dive
Next, I fired up the computer and hit the usual spots – you know, the big sports sites, some fantasy football-specific blogs, podcasts, anything I could find. I was looking for a few key things:
- Projected stats: How many yards, touchdowns, receptions, etc., are the “experts” predicting for each player?
- Injury history: Is this guy a walking time bomb, or has he been pretty durable? Big factor!
- Team changes: Did a player switch teams? A new quarterback or offensive coordinator can make a HUGE difference.
- Offensive line quality: Even the best running back will struggle behind a terrible offensive line.

After all that, I finally whittled it down to a top 25. It’s not set in stone, of course. Things will change. Players will get injured, rookies will emerge, and my opinions will probably evolve. I am also keeping a watchful eye on the players.
