Alright, so, today’s project was all about getting my hands on some fantasy football consensus rankings. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while, ’cause, you know, gotta get prepped for the draft, right?

Getting Started
First things first, I needed to figure out where to get this info. I mean, there are tons of sites out there, but I wanted something reliable, something…consensus-y. You know, not just one person’s opinion, but a general agreement.
The Search
I spent a good chunk of time just browsing. I jumped from site to site, checking out different rankings, trying to get a feel for who’s hot and who’s not. It was kinda overwhelming, to be honest. Everyone’s got their own system, their own way of ranking players.
- Opened several websites with rankings.
- Compared some of the top-ranked players across the sites.
- Noted a few big differences of opinion.
Compiling My Own
After looking at many expert’s rankings, I started putting together my own spreadsheet. I listed out all the players I was even remotely interested in, then started pulling in rankings from different sources. I figured averaging them out would give me a decent “consensus” view.
- Created a spreadsheet.
- Added player names.
- Copied rankings into corresponding columns.
- Added a column to calculate an average ranking.
Feeling Good
Now, I’ve got my own custom consensus rankings! It took a bit of work, but I feel way more prepared for my fantasy draft. Bring on the season!
