Well, let me tell ya ’bout this basketball team, the Yulon Dinos. Heard they play in some kinda league, Super Basketball League they call it, over in Taiwan. Don’t know much about Taiwan, ‘cept it’s far, far away. Anyways, these Dinos, they been around a long time, since 1965! Imagine that, longer than I’ve been wearin’ this here apron!
Yulon Dinos, that’s what they call ’em. Sounds like somethin’ out of a picture book, don’t it? Dinos and cars… Yulon Motor, the fella who started the team, he makes cars too, Luxgen they call ’em. Fancy stuff, I reckon. Not like my old pickup truck, that’s for sure.
Now, I don’t know much about basketball, all that dribblin’ and shootin’, but I hear these Dinos are pretty good. They play against other teams, like this Taiwan Beer team. Lost to ’em recent-like, 72 to 69. Close game, I guess. Makes ya wonder, did they celebrate with beer after? Heh!

Someone told me you can even watch their games online, on somethin’ called Flashscore. Says you can see scores from all over the world, not just the Dinos. Thirty countries, they say! Land sakes, that’s a lot of basketball. Don’t know why anyone would wanna watch that much, but to each their own, I always say.
Now, there’s other Dinos too, seems like. These ones are up in Canada, playin’ all sorts of sports, not just basketball. Hockey, soccer, even runnin’ around in fields! Young folks got too much energy, if you ask me. But these Canadian Dinos, they ain’t the same as the Taiwan ones. Different kinda Dinos, I guess.
It’s all a bit confusin’ if you ask me. Dinos here, Dinos there… But the basketball Dinos in Taiwan, they seem to be the ones folks talk about most. Super Basketball League, sounds important. Maybe they even got cheerleaders with fancy outfits? Wouldn’t that be somethin’!
I heard you can even buy tickets to see some basketball games, like these Pelicans games. Don’t know who they are, but sounds like another one of them fancy teams. Probably got them tall fellas runnin’ around, just like the Dinos. Tickets and schedules, all online now, they tell me. Back in my day, you just showed up and hoped for a good seat.
Anyway, that’s the gist of it. Yulon Dinos, Taiwan basketball team, been around a long time. They play hard, they lose sometimes, but they keep on playin’. Just like life, I suppose. You win some, you lose some, but you gotta keep on goin’. And maybe, just maybe, those Dinos will win a championship one day. Wouldn’t that be somethin’ to see?
So, if you’re ever lookin’ for somethin’ to watch, and you’re tired of them soap operas, maybe give the Yulon Dinos a try. Might be more excitin’ than you think. Or maybe not. Like I said, I don’t know much about basketball. But I do know a good story when I hear one, and these Dinos, well, they got a story alright.
