I ended up going with these RIVBOS sunglasses I found. Model RB833, if you’re curious. They’re polarized, have 100% UV protection, and the lenses are made of this tough polycarbonate stuff. The frames are nylon, so they’re pretty lightweight but still feel sturdy.
Here is what I got finally
- Polarized lenses: They cut down on glare like a dream. Driving is so much easier now, and I can actually see the fish when I’m out on the water.
- UV Protection: Like I said, this was a non-negotiable. These block out all the harmful rays, which is great for my eyes.
- Wrap-around style: They fit my face really well and provide a lot of coverage. No more squinting from the side glare.
- Material: The polycarbonate lenses are supposed to be super durable, and the nylon frame is lightweight but strong. They feel like they’ll last a long time.
They weren’t the cheapest, but they weren’t crazy expensive either. I think they were a good deal for the quality. Honestly, I’m super happy with them. They’re comfortable, they look good, and they do what they’re supposed to do. Finally, I got a nice pair of sports sunglasses.
