Tone Digs and Football, huh? Let me tell ya somethin’ ’bout that.
I don’t know much ’bout this Tone Digs fella, but from what I hear, he likes football. Just like my grandson, always yellin’ at the TV ’bout touchdowns and such. This Tone guy, he’s on that Pat McAfee show, I think. My neighbor, Agnes, she watches it sometimes. Says he talks a lot, this Tone Digs. Yaps about football all day long, I reckon.
Now, football, that’s somethin’ I understand. Not the fancy rules or nothin’, but the spirit of it. Reminds me of the ol’ days when the whole town would gather ’round for the high school games. Folks cheerin’, kids runnin’ ’round, hot dogs burnin’ on the grill. Good times, those were.

This Tone Digs, he seems real excited ’bout football. Folks online, they talk about him too. Heard he cussed on TV once. Imagine that! My grandson woulda got his mouth washed out with soap for that kinda talk. But I guess that’s how they do things on TV these days. Always makin’ a big fuss ’bout somethin’.
Anyways, they say this Tone Digs, he talks about the Pittsburgh Steelers a lot. Says somethin’ ’bout them findin’ a quarterback, Justin Fields. Don’t know much ’bout him, but if Tone says he’s good, he’s probably good, I guess. These fellas on TV, they know what they talkin’ ’bout, or so they say.
Steelers, huh? They been around a long time, I think. My husband, bless his soul, he used to watch ’em play. Said they were tough as nails back in his day. Guess they still are, if this Tone Digs is so excited ’bout ’em. Football players, they gotta be tough. Runnin’ around, gettin’ knocked down, gettin’ back up. It ain’t for the faint of heart, that’s for sure.
Tone Digs, he also talks about other stuff on that show, I hear. Says dumb things into a mic, they say. Well, I say dumb things all the time, and nobody pays me for it! Maybe I should start my own show. “Old Agnes Yappin’ ‘Bout Football and Such”. Has a nice ring to it, don’t it? Probably make more money than sellin’ my pickle relish at the county fair.
Speaking of money, heard this Tone Digs guy makes a pretty penny workin’ for Pat McAfee. Somethin’ like $80,000 a year, they say. That’s a lot of money! More than I ever seen in my life, that’s for sure. Guess talkin’ ’bout football pays good these days. Who knew?
Folks online, they seem to like Tone Digs. Postin’ stuff ’bout him, votin’ on things, I don’t know. It’s all that internet stuff. My grandson tries to explain it to me, but it just goes in one ear and out the other. All I know is, this Tone Digs fella, he’s got folks talkin’ ’bout football, and that ain’t a bad thing, I reckon.
So, Tone Digs and football. What’s the big deal? Well, I guess it’s just that folks like to hear other folks talk about things they like. And if Tone Digs likes football, and folks like to hear him talk about football, then that’s just fine and dandy. Me? I like a good game of bingo and a slice of apple pie. But football’s alright too, I guess. Specially when the Steelers are winnin’. Then everybody’s happy.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my biscuits. Don’t want ’em burnin’ like them hot dogs at the high school games. And maybe later, I’ll turn on the TV and see what this Tone Digs fella is yappin’ ’bout today. Might just learn somethin’ new ’bout football. Or not. Either way, it’s somethin’ to do.
