Okay, so yesterday I decided to check out the Seven Bridges Tennis Center. I’d heard some good things about it, and my backhand has been seriously lacking lately, so I figured it was time for some practice.

Getting Started
First thing I did was look it up online. I needed to know the timings, and whether I needed to book, things like that. Find out where it is exactly. It turned out to be easier than I thought, I found the information that I was looking for.
The Courts
When I got there, the place looked pretty nice. There were many courts, I think. I didn’t count, I just went straight to look for one to start.
- The courts looked pretty well-maintained.
- The surroundings were neat, I should say.
Hitting Some Balls
I managed to find an empty court, a bit to the far side. I started with some easy forehands, just trying to get a feel for the surface. It felt pretty good, not too fast, not too slow. Then I worked on my serves. Man, I need to work on my serves!
After a while, I started focusing on my backhand. That’s the whole reason I went! I tried to remember what my coach told me last time: keep your eye on the ball, bend your knees, swing through. I kept repeating it in my head like a mantra. Slowly, I started to feel a little more comfortable. Still not great, but better.
Wrapping Up
I spent about two hours there, just hitting balls. Didn’t play any sets, just focused on getting some practice in. I was pretty tired by the end, but in a good way. It felt good to get out there and work on my game.
Overall, I’d say Seven Bridges is a decent place to play.
