NFL Draft 2024 Simulator: Free Ways to Predict Picks.

Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this 2024 NFL Draft simulator thing. It’s pretty addictive, I gotta say. Here’s how my whole experience went down.

NFL Draft 2024 Simulator: Free Ways to Predict Picks.

Finding a Simulator

First, I just googled “NFL Draft 2024 simulator”. There are a bunch of them out there, so I just clicked on one of the first ones that popped up. No real strategy there, just wanted to dive in.

Getting Started

Once I got to the site, it was pretty straightforward. Usually, there’s a big button that says something like “Start Draft” or “Begin Simulation.” Clicked that, and boom, I was in.

Making My Picks

This is where the fun begins. The simulator usually gives you a team to control – sometimes it’s random, sometimes you can pick. I pretended to be the GM, so I am selecting the best option. I got to be the Chicago Bears, which was cool since they have the number one pick, and selected all players according to the need.

Then, it goes through each round, pick by pick. When it’s your turn, you see a list of available players. They usually have their college, position, and maybe some basic stats or a scouting report.

I tried to think about what my team needed. Like, did I need a quarterback? A strong defensive lineman? I looked at the players’ positions and tried to find the best fit. It’s all make-believe, but it’s still fun to try to build a good team.

Trades and Such

  • Some simulators let you make trades. This is where things can get really interesting, which means I can propose a trade to another team, maybe offering them my later-round picks for their earlier-round pick.
  • Honestly, I’m not great at the whole trading thing. I usually just stick to making my picks, but it’s a cool feature if you’re into that.

Finishing Up

After all seven rounds, the draft is over. The simulator usually gives you a summary of your picks, showing you all the players you drafted. It feels pretty good to see your whole “team” lined up.

Doing it Again…and Again

And yeah, that’s pretty much it. The cool part is, you can do it over and over again. You can try different strategies, draft different players, and see how it all plays out. It’s a good way to kill some time and get hyped for the real NFL Draft.

I found myself doing a few mock drafts in a row, trying to get a “perfect” draft. It never quite happens, but that’s part of the fun. It’s all just a guessing game, anyway.
