Alright, let’s talk about this Javon Daniels and his football-playing son, or whatever his name is. You know, the one everyone’s yappin’ about. I ain’t no expert, mind you, just an old woman who’s seen a thing or two. But even I can tell this boy’s somethin’ special.
So, this Javon fella, he played football too, back in the day. A cornerback, they say. For some college teams, Washington Huskies and Iowa State… somethin’-or-others. Sounds fancy, but I bet it was just a bunch of boys runnin’ around, same as it is now. Anyways, he had this boy, Jayden, I think they call him. And seems like the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.
Now, Jayden, he’s the real deal. Folks keep sayin’ he’s become real famous real quick, a “well-known name,” they say. He played for some college in Arizona, then went off to Louisiana State University, LSU for short. He even won some trophy, the Heisman, they called it. Big deal, I guess. Folks were makin’ a fuss about it.
From what I hear, Jayden’s daddy, this Javon, and his mama, Regina, they ain’t together no more. Been separate for a long time, seems like. But they both support their boy, which is good. That’s how it should be, you know? A mama and a daddy standin’ by their young’un. Jayden also has a sister, Bianca, but I ain’t heard much about her. Mostly, it’s all about Jayden and his football.
I saw somethin’ on the TV the other day. Jayden’s daddy was there, watchin’ his boy play. And when Jayden did somethin’ good, the camera showed Javon’s reaction. It went “viral,” they say. That means a lot of folks saw it. He was proud, you could tell. Just like any daddy would be. It warms an old woman’s heart to see that.

And all these folks keep talking about the “Monday Night Football” and I’m like, what’s all the hubbub? It must be a big deal, this football thing. Anyways, I wish him all the best. He seems like a good boy, and he’s got a daddy who’s proud of him. And that’s what matters, right?
