I heard tell they can cost anywhere from a few hundred dollars to over a thousand! Can you believe that? A thousand dollars for somethin’ you just smash your head into! Folks these days, I tell ya. But I reckon it’s important, gotta keep them boys safe, though I still don’t see why it costs so dang much.

The teams, they usually pay for the helmets though, which is good cause these boys ain’t got the money to be shelling out thousands.
But for most folks, like if you wanna buy one for yourself, you gotta pay the price. And that price, like I said, can be a real doozy. I seen some helmets online, and them things were priced all over the place. Some were a couple hundred, some were closer to four hundred, and some even more than that!
