Okay, here’s my take on “fantasy football rankings week 2 2024”, written as a personal blog post, focusing on my actions and process:

Alright, so Week 1 is done, and it’s time to scramble for those Week 2 rankings. First thing I did? I grabbed my laptop and fired up the usual suspects – my go-to fantasy football websites. I needed to see what the “experts” were saying, just to get a baseline, you know?
Then, I opened up my own spreadsheet. Yeah, I’m one of those guys. I like to keep track of everything myself. I started plugging in the Week 1 stats for all my players, and anyone who caught my eye on the waiver wire.
Digging into the Numbers
Next, I dove into the matchups. Who’s playing who? Are there any juicy defensive weaknesses I can exploit? Are any key players injured? This is where I spend the most time. I read game previews, injury reports, and even some beat writer tweets (gotta stay on top of things!).
- Checked injury reports multiple times throughout the day. These things change fast!
- Looked for potential breakout players. Did anyone have a surprisingly good Week 1 against a tough defense?
- Considered the weather. Is it going to be a monsoon in Miami? That might impact the passing game.
- Compared Week 2 Opponent’s performance.
After all that research, I went back to my spreadsheet and started adjusting my initial rankings. I moved players up and down based on what I’d learned. It’s all about gut feeling at this point, combined with the data I’ve gathered.
Finally, I set my lineups on all my different fantasy platforms. I double-checked everything, made sure I didn’t have anyone on bye, and then… I waited. The waiting is the hardest part!
That’s my basic process for figuring week 2, It’s a lot of work, a bit chaotic, but that’s what I went with. I am ready for week 2!
