Alright, so I’ve been messing around with fantasy football for a while now, and one thing that always gets me is the rankings. Every year, I swear it’s like starting from scratch. So, this year, I decided to get a bit more organized about it.

Gettin’ Started
First thing I did was hit up all the usual websites. You know, the big-name ones. I just wanted to see what the “experts” were saying. I made a simple spreadsheet to keep track of everything.
Digging In
Then came the fun part – watching some games and highlights! I mean, you can’t just trust what some dude in a suit says, right? You gotta see these players in action. I was particularly looking for guys who seemed to be getting more targets or carries than last year. Those are the potential breakout stars.
My Own System
After gathering all this info, I started tweaking the expert rankings. I moved some players up based on what I saw, and some down. It’s all about gut feeling, you know? Don’t be afraid to trust your own eyes.
Keeping Track
- Week 1: Noticed a rookie running back getting a ton of red-zone carries. Bumped him up my rankings.
- Week 3: A certain wide receiver seemed to have lost a step. Dropped him down a few spots.
- Week 6: Traded a player that was high in the expert rankings based on the other user want, but my rankings and data said was not.
It is pretty simple, I think.
It’s all about staying flexible and not being afraid to adjust. That’s my system, anyway. Hope it helps you out!
