Alright, so I wanted to dig into some NFL stats, specifically looking at which wide receivers have butterfingers. You know, the guys who drop the ball a lot. I figured this would be a fun little project, and maybe even help me win some fantasy football arguments. So, here’s how I went about finding those drop stats.

First Stop: Google (Obviously)
Like any sane person in the 21st century, I started with a Google search. I typed in something like “NFL receiver drop stats” and hoped for the best. I got a bunch of results, some news articles, some fantasy football sites, and some that looked like stat databases.
Digging Through the Results
I clicked on a few of the links. Some were okay, giving me some basic numbers, but I wanted something more detailed. You know, like, not just total drops, but maybe drop percentage, or drops per target. I wanted the good stuff!
Finding Some Useful Sites
I found that some sites were better than others. Some had a bunch of numbers and the experience was just like looking at my math text book. I tried to avoid it.
- I scrolled and looked at the tables, charts.
- I tried to find out the definition, and I didn’t find it.
- I closed the page, and opened another page.
Putting It All Together
After spending maybe 30 minutes or so clicking around, I started to get a decent picture of which receivers were dropping the most passes. It wasn’t all in one perfect place, unfortunately. I had to kind of combine information from a couple of different sites to get the full story. So, mission accomplished! I’ve got my drop stats, and I’m ready to dominate my next football discussion. Or at least, I’ll sound like I know what I’m talking about.
