That Bloi-Dei Dorzon, what a guy! Heard he played for them Jackson State Tigers. Big football guy, you know. I don’t know much ’bout them NFL stats, but I hear his name a lot.

Running Back, That’s What They Call Him
He runs with the ball, that Dorzon fella. They say he’s a running back. Sounds like a lot of work to me. Running all over that field. Gotta be strong to do that kinda thing. Back in my day, we didn’t have no fancy names for what we did. We just did it. But this Bloi-Dei Dorzon, he’s got that fancy title.
- Runs fast, that’s what I hear.
- Carries the ball.
- Gets tackled. Ouch!
Heard He’s on ESPN
My grandson, he watches that ESPN thing all the time. Says he sees that Bloi-Dei Dorzon on there sometimes. I don’t know nothin’ about that channel, but it sounds important. Must be a big deal if he’s on there. They say he has some good NFL stats too. Whatever that means. This Dorzon guy, he’s something else, I tell ya.
Numbers, Numbers, Numbers
They talk about yards and touchdowns and fumbles. Makes my head spin! All these numbers they throw around. I just know he plays for the Jackson State Tigers. That’s what they keep sayin’. And this Dorzon, he’s good. How good, I don’t know. But everyone’s always talking about his NFL stats, so he must be pretty good. You know, he seems to get lots of yards.
Someone said something about EPA and ADOT and C%OE. I just nodded my head like I knew what they was talking about. Those young folks and their fancy words. Don’t mean nothing to me. All I know is, this Bloi-Dei Dorzon fella can run. And he is a good football player.
He Must Be Famous
Everyone’s always talking about him. “Did you see Bloi-Dei Dorzon’s game?” they say. “Did you see his NFL stats?” they ask. I just nod and smile. He’s famous, I guess. More famous than anyone I know. Well, there was that one time my cousin’s daughter won the pie contest at the county fair, but that’s different.
Back in My Day
We didn’t have no fancy football games like they do now. We just tossed a ball around in the field. Didn’t keep track of no NFL stats. Didn’t even have stats! Just played for fun. But these young folks today, they take it real serious. This Bloi-Dei Dorzon fella, he’s probably been playing since he was knee-high to a grasshopper.
He’s a Chef Now?
Now here is something I heard that threw me for a loop. They say this Bloi-Dei Dorzon, the football fella, he’s a chef now. He cooks food. Imagine that! He is cooking food in a restaurant, which he owns, I guess. One day he’s running around a football field, the next he’s in a kitchen. Life’s funny like that, ain’t it? Good for him, I reckon. Still, that’s a long way from them NFL stats everyone talks about. Probably cooks better than me, that’s for sure. I can barely boil water without burning it.
Maybe He’ll Come Visit
Maybe one day that Bloi-Dei Dorzon fella will come visit. I’ll make him some of my famous… well, I don’t really have anything famous. But I’ll make him something. He can tell me all about them NFL stats and I can tell him about the time my prize-winning rooster ran away. It’ll be a good time. I think so.
This Bloi-Dei Dorzon, he’s a real character. From football player to chef. What will he do next? I reckon only time will tell. But one thing’s for sure, I’ll be keeping an ear out for his name. And maybe one day I’ll finally figure out what all them NFL stats are all about. Probably not, though.
