Alright, alright, let’s talk about them sport costumes for womens, you know, the getups gals wear when they’re runnin’ around or doin’ sporty stuff. I ain’t no expert, but I seen a thing or two, and I can tell ya what’s what.

I seen some with long sleeves, some with short sleeves, some with pants, some with skirts. Lots of choices, depends on what you’re feelin’. If you got a bit of a belly, like me, the loose ones are the best, let’s ya breathe.
Now, don’t forget about them thermal underwear sets. If you’re livin’ in a place where it gets cold, real cold, these are a godsend. They keep ya warm as toast, even when the wind’s howlin’ outside. Thin enough to wear under your clothes, so nobody even knows you got ’em on. But trust me, you’ll be glad you do when that first chill hits. I wore ’em under my overalls all winter, kept me from freezin’ my butt off.
- Sports swimwear, that’s for them gals who like to swim, I reckon. Seen pictures in them magazines at the store. They got all sorts of styles, some cover more, some cover less. Just depends on what you’re comfortable with, I guess. Me? I prefer to stay dry on land, thank you very much.
- And then you got them referee shirts. Not sure why a woman would wanna dress up like a ref, unless she’s actually callin’ a game. But hey, to each their own, right? Maybe they just like the stripes. Or maybe they wanna keep their husbands in line. Now that’s an idea…
If you’re lookin’ for something more… costume-y, like for a party or somethin’, there’s plenty of them too. You got your cheerleader outfits, your gymnastics leotards, even basketball uniforms. I seen some gals dressed up like cats, too. Black suits, tight-fittin’. Not sure how practical that is for playin’ sports, but they sure look somethin’. And if you really wanna get weird, you could dress up like a “shrunken head bob.” Whatever that is. Sounds kinda spooky to me.
Where to find these things? Well, I hear tell there’s this place called eBay, sells just about everything. And Amazon, too. Kohl’s, they got stuff too. Just gotta look around, I guess. Or you could always make your own. If you’re handy with a needle and thread, that is. Me? I’m better at patchin’ holes than makin’ whole new outfits.
