Alright, let’s talk about this Lamar Jackson jersey thing, you know, the one them football fellas wear. Folks keep jabberin’ about it, so I figured I’d put in my two cents, even though I don’t know beans about football. But a jersey’s a jersey, right? Like a shirt, but fancier, and with a fella’s name on it.
Now, where do you get these jerseys? Seems like everywhere you look, somebody’s sellin’ ’em. The internet, they call it. My grandson showed me. Said you can find ’em on somethin’ called “NFL Official Online Store.” Sounds fancy, huh? They got all sorts of Lamar Jackson stuff there. Jerseys, shirts, even things they call “memorabilia.” Don’t ask me what that is. Sounds like somethin’ old and dusty, if you ask me.
Then there’s this “Nike” place. My grandson says it’s a big deal shoe company, but they make jerseys too. Said they got free delivery and returns, whatever that means. Sounds like they’re tryin’ to sweet-talk you into buyin’ somethin’. But hey, if you want a Lamar Jackson jersey, seems like they got plenty.
And don’t forget about them Baltimore Ravens. That’s Lamar Jackson’s team, you know. They got their own online store too, sellin’ all sorts of jerseys and uniforms. Seems like everybody’s got a store these days. Back in my day, you went to the general store, and that was it. Now you got stores on the computer. Go figure.
So, why all the fuss about this Lamar Jackson jersey? Well, I reckon it’s ‘cause he’s a good player. People like him, so they want his jersey. It’s like back in the day when folks wanted Elvis Presley records. Same kinda thing, I guess. Just a different fella and a different kind of…thing.
- First off, you gotta decide where to buy it. Like I said, there’s the NFL store, Nike, the Ravens store, and probably a whole bunch of other places I ain’t heard of.
- Then you gotta figure out what kind of jersey you want. They got different colors, different styles, different sizes. It’s enough to make your head spin.
- And don’t forget the price. These jerseys ain’t cheap, let me tell you. You gotta be willin’ to shell out some serious cash if you want one. My grandson said you can find discounts and deals, but I don’t know nothin’ about that. Sounds like more computer mumbo jumbo.
But if you really want a Lamar Jackson jersey, and you’re willin’ to pay for it, then go ahead and get one. It ain’t gonna hurt nobody. Just don’t come cryin’ to me if it doesn’t make you play football like him. A jersey’s just a shirt, remember? It ain’t magic.
My grandson also mumbled somethin’ about “*.” Said they got officially licensed Lamar Jackson jerseys from Nike. Whatever that means. Sounds like a whole lot of rigmarole to me. But if you’re lookin’ for the real deal, I guess that’s where you go.
And one more thing, they keep sayin’ these jerseys are “almost gone!” I guess that means you gotta hurry up and buy one before they’re all gone. It’s like when the store has a sale on peaches, and everybody rushes to get ’em before they’re all gone. Same kinda deal, I reckon.
So there you have it. Everything I know about Lamar Jackson jerseys, which ain’t much, but it’s more than I knew yesterday. If you want one, go get it. If you don’t, that’s fine too. It ain’t gonna change the price of eggs, as they say.
Just remember, don’t spend more than you can afford. And don’t expect a jersey to turn you into a football star. It’s just a piece of cloth, after all. But if it makes you happy, then I guess it’s worth it. Folks spend their money on all sorts of things these days. A Lamar Jackson jersey is probably the least of their worries.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about jerseys has made me hungry. And I ain’t got time to be fussin’ over football clothes. Got more important things to do, like makin’ sure my family’s got somethin’ to eat.
