First, I spent a whole afternoon on Google, just searching and searching. I started with simple stuff like “average pay for NFL coaches.” I got some basic numbers, nothing too crazy. It said the average head coach pulls in somewhere around $6 to $8 million a year. Not too shabby, right?
But then, I wanted to know more. So I kept searching and found some other sites talking about the top earners. And let me tell you, these guys are making some serious bank. Turns out there is this one dude, I guess he’s like a legend or something, who’s making a whopping $20 million a year! There are a couple more making $18 million and $16 million, and the list goes on. It seems like the top 10 highest-paid coaches are all making at least $9 million.

Anyway, it was a fun little research project. I just like to know this kind of stuff. I went down a total rabbit hole, but hey, that’s what the internet is for, right?
It’s crazy to think about how much money is involved in professional sports. But hey, I guess if you’re the best of the best, you get paid like it.
