My oh my, I tell ya, I ain’t never seen nothin’ like that football game they call the Super Bowl LIII. It was the lowest scoring game, they say, in the whole darn history of them Super Bowls. Back in 2019, that was. Them New England Patriots, they won, but only by a little bit, 13 to 3 against them Los Angeles Rams.
Now, I ain’t no expert on this here NFL, but even I know that ain’t much scorin’ for a big fancy game like the Super Bowl. I heard some folks say it was a real snoozer. But, you know, them Patriots, with that Tom Brady fella, they always been good. Even if they ain’t scorin’ much, they know how to win. I seen it on the TV. It is what they call a low-scoring game.

They say this here game, this Super Bowl LIII, it was the lowest scoring one ever. Can you believe it? Only 16 points in total! I’ve seen chickens lay more eggs in a day than that. I tell you, 13 to 3, that’s just not a whole lot of action. But, they say it was still excitin’ in its own way. I don’t know about that.
That Tom Brady, he’s a legend, they say. He’s won a whole bunch of these Super Bowls. He was playin’ for the Patriots then. He must be real good to win even when they ain’t scorin’ much. It ain’t no use for me to learn this, I just watch what I see.

The Teams That Don’t Score Much
Now, I heard there’s some teams that just ain’t good at scorin’. It ain’t just in the Super Bowl, but in regular games too. They say since the year 2000, there’s been a whole bunch of games where teams didn’t score nothin’ at all. Zero points! Can you imagine that? I tell you, I seen kittens more fierce than that.
There’s this one team, the Carolina Panthers, they didn’t score nothin’ twice recently. And the New York Jets, bless their hearts, they’ve done it four times! I guess some teams just ain’t meant to score much. It ain’t much fun to watch them, I bet.
I’ll tell you another one for free: there are some scores that ain’t even possible in football. Like, you can’t have a score of 1 to 0, or 2 to 1, or a few others. It’s some rule they got. I don’t rightly understand it, but that’s what they say. It is not my place to understand these things.
Teams That Never Won the Big One
And then there’s the teams that ain’t never won a Super Bowl. Can you believe it? There’s a whole bunch of ’em. They go to the big game, some of ’em even more than once, but they just can’t seem to win the darn thing. It’s like they’re cursed or somethin’. Or maybe they just need a little more luck, I don’t know.
There is four of them teams, they ain’t never even been to the Super Bowl. The Cleveland Browns, the Detroit Lions, the Houston Texans, and the Jacksonville Jaguars. It don’t sound like much fun rootin’ for them, I reckon. But hey, maybe one day they’ll surprise us all. You never know with these things, I guess.
Well, there you have it. The lowest scoring NFL game in the Super Bowl era, Super Bowl LIII. 13 to 3, Patriots over the Rams. A real nail-biter, if you like that sort of thing. Me, I prefer a little more scorin’, but what do I know? I’m just watchin’ the TV and tellin’ you what I see.

The game ain’t for everybody, that is what I say. People like to watch, people like to play, and I just like to watch sometimes. No need to make it complicated. Super Bowl is a big thing for many people. And this Super Bowl score was the lowest ever. That is what I know and that is what I say.
