Alright, let’s talk about these here Al Harrington basketball shoes. I ain’t no expert, mind you, just tellin’ it like I see it. This fella, Al Harrington, he played some basketball, I reckon. And now, it seems, he’s got shoes. Not just any shoes, mind you, but basketball shoes. For playin’ the basket-ball, you know?
Now, I heard tell there’s this “Protege” brand. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Seems like this Rodney Henry fella started it up. The idea, from what I gather, is to make good shoes, stylish too, for folks who love basketball, no matter how much money they got. That’s a good thing, I say. Everybody should get a chance to have some decent shoes, ain’t that right?
And wouldn’t you know it, Al Harrington, he’s mixed up in this somehow. Him and another fella, Stephen Jackson, they got this Protege line goin’. Selling shoes and clothes, starting back in February, or so I heard. You could find ’em at Kmart, they said. Kmart! Imagine that. Used to be you could get just about anything at Kmart. Now, you can get Al Harrington’s shoes there too.
I even saw some of these shoes on that eBay thingamajig. Folks sellin’ all sorts of stuff there. “Kmart Protege A3h Black/Grey Al Harrington Men Sz 9.5” it said. Sounded like a mouthful to me. Black and grey, huh? Practical colors, I guess. Not too flashy.
- Black and grey shoes: Sounded alright. Not too showy.
- Kmart: That’s where you could find ‘em, they said.
- Protege: The brand name, fancy like.
- Al Harrington: The basketball fella. He’s got his name on the shoes.
Now, I ain’t sure where else you can get these shoes. Some folks talk about “Nice Kicks” and “release dates” and “prices.” Sounds complicated. I just want to know if they’re good shoes, you know? Will they last? Can you run and jump in ‘em? That’s what matters, ain’t it?
And then there’s this talk about other shoes. Nike and Jordan and all them big names. They got all sorts of shoes. Basketball shoes, running shoes, just plain ol’ shoes. They cost a pretty penny, I bet. Heard tell that Nike is the most popular in that NBA thing. But Al Harrington’s shoes, they seem like they’re for regular folks. Not them fancy basketball players.
People worry about fake shoes too. That GOAT place, they say they check all the shoes to make sure they’re real. That’s good, I suppose. Nobody wants to pay good money for a fake. But with these Al Harrington shoes, I don’t reckon you gotta worry too much about that. They ain’t that expensive, from what I hear.
So, if you’re lookin’ for some basketball shoes, and you don’t want to spend a fortune, maybe these Al Harrington shoes are for you. They seem alright. Practical, you know? Not too flashy, not too expensive. Just good, solid shoes. That’s what I think, anyway.
Now, I ain’t sayin’ they’re the best shoes ever made. I ain’t even seen ‘em in person. But from what I hear, they’re a decent pair of shoes for a decent price. And that’s more than you can say for some things these days.
So, if you’re in the market for some basketball shoes, go on and check ‘em out. You might just find yourself a good deal. And who knows, maybe you’ll even play like Al Harrington in ‘em. Probably not, but it’s nice to dream, ain’t it?
In short, these Al Harrington shoes, part of that Protege line, seem like a good option if you want decent basketball shoes without breaking the bank. You might find them at Kmart or on places like eBay. They ain’t fancy, but they get the job done, I reckon. And that’s all that matters, really. Good shoes, good price, good enough for me.
