- Consider the pockets: Now, this is important. Where you gonna put your keys and your money if you ain’t got no pockets? Some of these dresses got little bitty pockets that can barely hold a lipstick. You need pockets big enough for your stuff, or you’ll be carryin’ a purse, and that’s just a pain in the neck when you’re tryin’ to exercise.
I seen some dresses they call “athletic dresses” or “activewear dresses”. Sounds fancy, don’t it? But it’s just a dress you can wear when you’re bein’ active, like playin’ sports or goin’ for a walk. Some of them are real cute, I gotta admit. But you gotta make sure they fit right, you know? Too tight and you can’t breathe, too loose and it looks like a sack. Try it on before you buy it, that’s what I always say.

I prefer somethin’ a little more subtle, you know? Navy blue, black, maybe a nice soft gray. But hey, that’s just me. If you wanna wear a bright orange dress, go ahead and wear it! It’s your life, you do what makes you happy.
