Alright, alright, let’s talk about them… uh… what do you call ’em? Womens navy sports shorts, yeah, that’s it. You know, the little pants women wear when they’re runnin’ around or doin’ their exercises. I seen a whole bunch of ’em at the store the other day, and lemme tell ya, there’s more kinds than fleas on a dog.

First off, some of them are real short, like, barely coverin’ anything. They call ’em “dolphin shorts” or somethin’. I guess they’re good for keepin’ cool when you’re sweatin’ like a pig, but I tell ya, I wouldn’t be caught dead in ’em. Not at my age, no sir! Then there’s the ones that are a bit longer, comin’ down to your knees or so. Those are alright, I reckon. More decent, you know?
Now, they make these shorts outta all sorts of fancy materials these days. They got this “quick dry” stuff, which I guess means they don’t stay wet and sticky when you’re sweatin’. That sounds handy, I gotta say. And some of ’em have got these little pockets with zippers. Perfect for keepin’ your keys or your money safe, so you don’t lose ’em when you’re jumpin’ around.
- Short and breezy: Like I said, some are real short, good for keepin’ cool, they call ‘em dolphin shorts.
- Longer ones: Then there are those that go down to your knees, more decent, I’d say.
- Fancy materials: They got this “quick dry” stuff, and some have pockets with zippers.
And the colors! Well, we’re talkin’ about navy blue ones here, but I seen ’em in every color under the sun. Red, green, yellow, you name it. But navy blue, that’s a good, solid color. It don’t show dirt too bad, and it goes with pretty much anything. That’s important, you know? You don’t want to be lookin’ like a clown when you’re out and about.
I also noticed some of these shorts have got this stretchy waistband. That’s a good thing, I think. Makes ’em more comfortable, especially if you’ve had a big dinner, you know what I mean? And some of ’em got this mesh stuff inside, like a little liner. I guess that helps keep things… uh… in place, and maybe keeps you a bit cooler too.
Where can you get these navy sports shorts? Well, seems like just about everywhere these days. Big stores, little stores, even online, if you’re into that kinda thing. I heard tell of places like Old Navy, Macy’s, and Kohl’s, they all got ’em. And Under Armour too, though their stuff is probably a bit fancier and pricier than what I’m used to. But hey, if you got the money, go for it, I say.
Now, I ain’t no expert on these here shorts, mind you. I’m just tellin’ you what I seen and what I heard. But from what I can gather, womens navy sports shorts are a pretty popular item these days. And I can see why. They’re comfortable, they’re practical, and they come in all sorts of styles and sizes. So whether you’re a young gal runnin’ a marathon or an old lady like me just putterin’ around the garden, there’s probably a pair of navy sports shorts out there that’ll suit you just fine.
One more thing, I heard some of these shorts are made for “performance”. Now, I ain’t sure what that means exactly. Maybe they make you run faster or jump higher? Or maybe it just means they’re made outta good material that’ll last a long time. Either way, it sounds like somethin’ you might want to look for if you’re serious about your exercises.
And don’t forget about the “high waisted” ones. Seems like everything’s high waisted these days. I guess it’s supposed to be more flatterin’ or somethin’. I don’t know about all that, but if it makes you feel good, then go ahead and wear ’em. That’s what I always say. You gotta wear what makes you comfortable, no matter what anyone else thinks.
So there you have it. My two cents on womens navy sports shorts. Hope it was helpful. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go get back to my chores. These weeds ain’t gonna pull themselves, you know!
