Alright, listen up, y’all. We’re gonna talk about them fancy football throwin’ fellas from USC, the ones what went on to play in that there NFL. You know, the big leagues. I ain’t no expert, mind you, but I seen a game or two on that there TV box, and I know a good thrower when I see one.

So, this here USC, they got a real knack for makin’ quarterbacks, like they grow ’em on trees or somethin’. They say it’s got somethin’ to do with a “reputation,” sounds fancy, huh? Whatever it is, they sure do pump out some good ones.
Let’s start with that Carson Palmer fella. Folks say he threw for a whole heap of yards in college, somethin’ like eleven thousand and some. That’s a lot of throwin’, let me tell ya. And in the NFL? Phew! This boy threw for over forty-six thousand yards! Can you believe that? That’s like throwin’ a ball from here to the next county and back, a bunch of times!
- Carson Palmer – Threw the ball a country mile in the NFL. A real strong arm, that one.
Then there’s this Matt Cassel guy. He weren’t as famous as Palmer, but he still threw for a good chunk, somethin’ like seventeen thousand yards. That ain’t nothin’ to sneeze at, no sir. He played for a bunch of teams, this one did, always movin’ around.
- Matt Cassel – A good journeyman, they call him. Played for a lot of teams, threw for a lot too.
And don’t forget about Rodney Peete. Sixteen thousand and some yards he threw. These fellas, they sure do love throwin’ that pigskin. It’s like they got magnets in their hands and the ball just sticks to ’em.
- Rodney Peete – Another one with a strong arm. Threw for a lot of yards, just like the others.
And this Mark Sanchez fella, he threw for fifteen thousand yards too. Seems like all these USC boys can throw the ball a mile. They must feed ’em somethin’ special over there at that college.
- Mark Sanchez – Fifteen thousand yards! That’s more than I can count! These boys are somethin’ else.
Now, they’re talkin’ about this young’un, Caleb Williams. They say he might be the next big thing, goin’ number one in the draft and all. Folks are sayin’ if he gets picked number one by the Chicago Bears, that’ll be six number one picks from USC. That’s a whole lotta number ones if you ask me! Makes you wonder what they’re puttin’ in the water over there.
Sam Darnold, he’s another one from USC. He’s been playin’ in the NFL too, tryin’ to make a name for himself. It ain’t easy, you know. Lots of pressure on these boys to be the best.
So, there you have it. A whole mess of quarterbacks from USC, throwin’ the ball all over the place in the NFL. It’s somethin’, ain’t it? All these boys comin’ from the same place and doin’ so well. They say USC has a “rich history” at quarterback. Well, I guess that means they’ve been doing this for a long time, and they’re good at it. Makes you proud, kinda, even if you ain’t never been to that fancy college.
I tell ya, football is a funny game. One minute you’re on top of the world, the next you’re gettin’ sacked. But these boys from USC, they seem to handle it pretty good. They keep throwin’ that ball, no matter what. And that, I reckon, is what makes ’em special.
Five of these USC quarterbacks got picked in the first round! Can you believe that? That’s like bein’ the first one picked for a team at a picnic, only a whole lot bigger deal. And four of them boys threw for more than 15,000 yards in the NFL. That’s a lot of throwin’ , I’m tellin’ ya. They must have arms like rubber bands, the way they can sling that ball around.
So, next time you’re watchin’ that there football game and you see a fella from USC throwin’ the ball, you just remember what I told ya. These boys are somethin’ special. They come from a long line of throwers, and they ain’t afraid to let it rip. And that, my friends, is what makes football so darn entertainin’.
