CBC Baseball Charlotte: Your Guide to the Games & More

Alright, let’s talk about this CBC Baseball Charlotte thing, you know, the baseball stuff for the young’uns. I ain’t no expert, but I heard things, seen things, and I’ll tell ya what I know.

CBC Baseball Charlotte: Your Guide to the Games & More

First off, they say they got some real good trainin’ for these kids. Top-tier, they call it. Fancy words, but what it means is they teach ’em good. Help ’em hit the ball far, throw it fast, and catch it clean. That’s what matters, right? No point in fancy talk if you can’t play the game.

And the coachin’, they say it’s somethin’ special too. “Unparalleled,” another one of them big words. Means ain’t nobody else coachin’ like these folks. Guess they know their stuff, bein’ former MLB players and all. That’s the big leagues, ya know. The best of the best. So, these fellas, they used to play up there, and now they teachin’ the young’uns. That sounds pretty good to me.

  • Good trainin’
  • Good coachin’
  • Former MLB players teachin’

Now, they got these teams, see? College prep teams, they call ’em. Means they gettin’ these kids ready for college ball. That’s a big deal, I guess. Scholarships and all that. Help the kids go to school, get an education. That’s important, more important than baseball, if you ask me.

They also got this thing called the Carolina Royals. Started out for the homeschool kids, but now it’s for everyone, seems like. Times change, ya know. Things ain’t always the same. But the Royals, they still playin’ ball. That’s good. Kids need somethin’ to do, somethin’ to keep ’em outta trouble.

They play games, too, these kids. Start after Labor Day, play for six Saturdays. Two games each Saturday. That’s a lot of baseball, let me tell ya. Hope they got good snacks and drinks. Kids get hungry runnin’ around all day.

And they got schedules, gotta know when and where to play. They post ’em online, I hear. But sometimes, there’s mistakes, they say. So gotta double-check, make sure you got the right times. Don’t wanna show up at the wrong field, on the wrong day. That’d be a waste of time, wouldn’t it?

They even got a podcast now, talkin’ about baseball. You can be on it, they say, share your thoughts. I ain’t got much to say about baseball, but some folks do, I guess. They like talkin’ about it, arguin’ about it. That’s fine, long as they havin’ fun.

So, that’s the CBC Baseball Charlotte, as far as I can tell. They trainin’ kids, coachin’ ’em, gettin’ ’em ready for college, playin’ games, and talkin’ about it on the radio… well, on the internet thingy. Sounds like a good thing, keeps the kids busy, teaches ’em teamwork, discipline. That’s important stuff, ya know. More important than hittin’ home runs, even though that’s fun too.

And remember, always support your local teams and your kids. They’re the future, after all. Just like my grandson, little Timmy. He’s a good hitter, that boy. Could be the next Babe Ruth, you never know! So get out there, watch a game, cheer ’em on. It’s good for the soul, you know. And if you can’t make it to the field? Listen to the podcast! They talking about these kids and the baseball!

This CBC Baseball Charlotte seems like a real good place for the young’uns to learn and grow. And that’s what matters most, ain’t it? Give them a good start in life, teach them some good values. Baseball can do that. Teach ’em about teamwork, about tryin’ your best, about never givin’ up. That’s what I like about it. It’s more than just a game, see? It’s about life.
