Alright, so, you wanna know about this Jesse Jones fella, the basketball player? I heard some things, seen some things, lemme tell ya what I know. Don’t expect no fancy talk, I just say it like it is.
First off, this Jesse Jones, seems like there’s a few of ’em playin’ basketball. One fella, Jesse Jones, born in 1993, that makes him… let me see… carry the one… thirty-one years old! Can you believe it? Still runnin’ around with the youngsters. He’s from a place called Irvington, or maybe Clermont, depends on which Jesse you’re talkin’ about. See, it’s confusing!
One of these Jesses, he played for the Florida State Seminoles, wore the number 43, just like some fella named Dave Fodor way back when. They say this Jesse was pretty good, got himself a fancy award, the Golden Torch Award, in 2024. Sounds important, must’ve been shinin’ on the court.
Then there’s another Jesse Jones, goes by Filayyy, plays for Bridgeport University. He’s from Irvington, New Jersey, and scores a good chunk of points, like 14 a game, or somethin’ like that. Young fella, probably got a lot of energy.
- One Jesse is old, like 31.
- Another Jesse plays for Florida State.
- And then there’s Filayyy Jesse, plays for Bridgeport.
ESPN, you know, the TV people, they got all the info on these fellas. They got their biographies, their stats, all that jazz. If you really wanna know the nitty-gritty, go look it up there. But I’m tellin’ ya, it’s a lot to keep straight.
Now, don’t get him mixed up with that other Jesse Jones, the one born way back in 1874. That fella wasn’t no basketball player. He was from Tennessee, a farmer’s boy. Different times, different folks. Just goes to show ya, lots of people sharin’ the same name. It’s like John Smith, everywhere you turn there’s a John Smith!
Seems like this basketball Jesse Jones, no matter which one, is a pretty good player. They work hard, run fast, and throw that ball in the hoop. It’s a tough game, gotta be strong and quick. Not like us old folks, we just sit and watch, maybe yell at the TV a bit.
And there’s even a coach named James Jones, coaches at Yale University. Not a Jesse, but close enough. Maybe he coached one of these Jesse Jones fellas at some point, who knows? These basketball people, they all know each other, seems like.
So, there you have it. That’s what I know about Jesse Jones, the basketball player… or players, I should say. It’s a whole bunch of ’em, all playin’ ball, makin’ a name for themselves. Good for them, I say. Keeps ’em outta trouble, gives us somethin’ to watch on TV.
