I was lookin’ at some of their games, and I tell ya, they don’t back down from a fight. For example, just a few months ago, on April 13th, they won a big ol’ game against Orange Coast College. The score was 8-6, and that makes it their 17th win in a row! I don’t know about you, but that’s mighty impressive for a college team. Sure, they may not be as famous as them big league teams, but they got heart and a lotta skill to back it up.
They don’t just play good, they also know how to make sure folks know about their games. You can get tickets online for just $9.50, or $15 if you’re payin’ with cash at the gate. And hey, for the young’uns, high school students, and even folks from GCC, you can watch for free. Now, that’s somethin’! We need more of that in this world, where folks can just enjoy a good game without worryin’ ’bout the cost of tickets.
One thing I noticed is that the folks over at GCC Baseball sure know how to keep track of their team. They got a whole roster posted online, so if you wanna know who’s playin’, all ya gotta do is look it up. It’s all laid out, real simple, like that. Names of the players, positions they play, everything you’d wanna know. It’s good to see a team that’s organized, it shows they take their sport seriously.

They got folks that help ‘em out with money, gear, and all sorts of things to keep the team runnin’ strong. Without that, they wouldn’t be able to keep up the good work they do on the field. And I reckon that’s somethin’ worth mentionin’ too.
One thing about GCC Baseball, they ain’t just focused on playin’ the game. They also want to build a community. They encourage people to come watch, bring their families, and get involved. And that, my friend, is somethin’ special. The whole town and surrounding area get to root for the same team, and that makes ‘em feel like they’re part of somethin’ bigger.
