Okay, so, it’s 2024, and like every year, I’m super into fantasy football. I mean, who isn’t? But this year, I decided I was gonna dominate. No more of that “winging it” nonsense during the draft. I needed an edge, a secret weapon… a cheat sheet.

So I started by searching online. I must have viewed dozens of websites, but none of them were quite what I was looking for.
Then I began to build my Own 2024 Paper Fantasy Football Draft Cheat Sheet!
Building the Foundation
First things, I needed to think about my league settings. We use standard scoring, no PPR(Points Per Reception), One quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, a tight end, a flex, a kicker, and a defense. It is important! Don’t want to be caught off guard because I am prepping for the wrong rules.
Then I grab some paper and a pen.I started to list out all the positions, leaving plenty of space between each one.
- Quarterbacks: Time to research and list top QBs. Think, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, guys who consistently put up big numbers.
- Running Backs: This is where it gets tough. Gotta prioritize those workhorse backs, the guys who get a ton of carries.
- Wide Receivers: Now, these are players who grab a lot of passes.
- Tight Ends: It’s pretty thin at tight end, so grab one early.
- Flex: This is for RBs, WRs, or TEs.
- Kickers: I always leave kickers for one of the last rounds.
- Defense/Special Teams: Same with defenses, late-round picks. Look for teams with good matchups.
Putting It All Together
I start filling in the names. Next to each player, I also jot down their bye week. Crucial info, you don’t want all your star players out at the same time!
Finally, I reviewed everything, making sure I didn’t miss any obvious studs or sleepers. Feeling pretty good, and it’s all thanks to spending some serious time with my trusty cheat sheet.
Wish me luck!
